Soft Chick is the contributing illustrator for Knowing Our Joy: Stories of Southeast Asian Diaspora, the second anthology in the Planting SEADS series by The SEAD Project. This collection amplifies the voices of Southeast Asian elders, sharing personal histories of displacement, survival, and joy in the diaspora. Through evocative illustrations, Soft Chick visually interprets the personal story of Vietnamese refugee Chan Dao.
